Erica Lassiter

Miss Teen Rodeo Florida 2008, Erica Lassiter, a resident of Kissimmee, Fl., is the 18 year old daughter of John and Seana Lassiter.

Upon high school graduation, Erica was awarded the Presidents award for a high GPA and a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. She was also awarded scholarships from the Kissimmee Valley Livestock Shows and Fair, and the Silver Spurs Rodeo Pageant. Presently, Erica is a freshman at Valencia Community College pursuing a degree in Nursing and Business. In the future, Erica plans to work in the Nursing Administration field, and further her education in the field of Anesthesiology.

Erica will spend her year representing the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association at rodeos across Florida. When time allows, Erica loves training and showing her horses in AQHA, volunteering at local hospitals, and assisting with 4H events. She also enjoys water sports, working out, and working cows at local ranches.

Erica looks forward to her year as Miss Teen Rodeo Florida. She takes challenges in stride and plans to do her best, and represent Florida well. Erica’s favorite quote is “pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work”.
