2008 Miss Rodeo Florida Princess

Miss Rodeo Florida Princess 2008 is Alison Jowers. Alison is 11 years old and is the daughter of Clay and Susan Jowers. Alison comes from a sixth generation ranching family and has grown up on a cattle ranch in Osceola County, where her father raises bucking horses and bulls. She has been a member of the Silver Saddles 4-H Club for 6 years and always looks forward to her county fair. She is a honor roll student and a cheerleader at her school. She enjoys riding her palomino mare "Rita" at horse shows, parades and doing her queen runs at the rodeos.

Alison won her first queen title in 2006 when she won the Little Miss Silver Spurs P ageant . She had a great year promoting the Silver Spurs Rodeo. One of her favorite things about being a rodeo queen is that she gets to meet so many wonderful people and has made lots of new friends. Alison is proud to be the first MRF Princess and is enjoying her year representing our state and the great sport of rodeo.
