2009 Miss Rodeo Florida
Jessica Davis is the 22 year old daughter of Dale and Carolyn Davis of Saint Cloud, Florida. During her school years at Harmony High, she competed in volleyball, flag football and the girls weightlifting team. A true country girl, Jessica was successful
in 4-H, showing market hogs and heifers. She enjoys playing beach volleyball, going fishing, riding her horse and spending time with her friends.
Jessica is no stranger to the world of rodeo queens and in 2006; she won the historical title of Miss Silver Spurs, Miss Photogenic and the coveted “Miss Bill Chapman Horsemanship Award”. She proudly served the Silver Spurs Riding Club and their famous rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida.
Jessica is currently attending Brevard Community College pursuing an Associate of Science Degree, obtaining a certification as a veterinary technician. Upon completion of her reign, she plans on using the scholarship money she won to expand her education in large animal reproduction and genetics.
Jessica said, “Becoming Miss Rodeo Florida means filling the boots of Florida’s best cowgirls. Teaching our youth and community about a tradition that’s fading away is something I thrive on. Our cowboy heritage here in the sunshine state should be preserved for all generations to come, which I will do while holding this prestigious
title of honor. I love the fact that I have the opportunity to fill those boots and I ride proudly knowing that I will make a difference in our states future.”
Jessica will spend her reign during the 2009 year traveling throughout Florida and
the United States attending and promoting our wonderful state, P.R.C.A. rodeo’s and western events. In December 2009, Jessica will represent the state of Florida at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you would like to book her for an event or sponsor her in any way, donations are always appreciated. “Some trails traveled may be sandy but all you have to do is look up and know that the beautiful Florida sun will always be shining down on you.” Jessica Davis
